LXI Scalable Matrix Chassis

This LXI scalable matrix chassis offers you a solution that can be easily re-configured by the insertion and removal of up to six LXI matrix plug-in modules (detail in the tables below). It is purchased as an empty chassis with a quantity of plug-in modules required for a particular matrix size. Unused chassis slots are blanked off by the supplied blanking pieces. Cooling is provided by rear fans and front air intakes ensuring no wasted space when the chassis is rack mounted. The cooling system is adaptive to its operating environment to ensure the acoustic noise is minimized when used in quiet laboratory environments and low load conditions.

A new set of motorized tables developed by Klocke Nanotechnik allows high strokes at small volumes. The modules are driven by the Nanomotor®. Loads of up to two kg can be moved over centimeters of stroke with down to 2 nm resolution. Manipulation in many degrees of freedom is possible without backlash. The modules NMT xx-L are longer, but thin like a pencil. In most of the NMT-modules position measurement systems can be included without increasing the size. The resolution of the position sensor is better than 10 nm. All NMT modules can easily be fixed onto each other. Very small connectors allow the exchange of a module without removing cables. The NMT-Zxx are modules for vertical movement. They have an internal load compensation to lift up loads. Nanomotor-Grippers and force sensors that can easily be fixed on these modules are available.

The LineCam12 is an advanced linescan SWIR camera with 14-bit digital data at 37klines/s on USB3 or Camera Link™ outputs. The SWIR camera currently comes in two varieties: 250 μm tall pixels for spectroscopy and 12.5 μm square pixels for machine vision applications. The camera has incredible versatility enabling full wells from 75ke- to 100Me- with 128 steps of variation as well as integration times from 10 µs to 150s. On chip optical pixel binning (where every other detector is disconnected from the ROIC thus signal is captured by neighboring pixels) is available by command to trade spectral resolution for increased signal level. Pixel skipping or binning is also available allowing for 48k lines/s at 512 resolution in the same camera platform, activated by a simple command structure. The TEC stabilized camera has 31 non-uniformity correction (NUC) tables with 15 factory set and 16 user defined tables to enable flexibility for the given environment.

Thorlabs’ Vytran® Connect-Chek® Interferometer automatically and precisely measures radius of curvature, apex offset of polish, and fiber undercut or protrusion on any PC or APC, single-fiber connector. The CC6000 interferometer uses a non-contact tilted-phase-analysis technique for fast, reliable measurements of connector end faces.
