The FSXE Fixed Waveguide Shorts and the TSXE Tunable Shorts are available for creation of the shorts circuit conditions in waveguides. The TSXE Tunable Waveguide Shorts are movable shorts, adjustable through at least half a wavelength at the low end of the band. No matter what surface condition may be given, our easy to use BORDO detects various edges in incident light and measures their position. The results of the measurement are transmitted with 1/10 mm resolution via a digital or serial interface to a PC or a PLC which now can place the object into the desired position. This makes BORDO being the perfect tool in many lay-down processes such as the alignment of tiles or other pressed goods. Other applications are checks of alignment. Vector Finders with InternalAttenuators
VF-145 LA AND VF-145 LMA
The VF-145 LA and LMA models are functionally the same as the VF-145 L and LM on both electrical performance and mechanical specifications. However, the LA and LMA models include an internal PIN diode attenuator that provides up to 12 dB of attenuation (measured at 150 MHz, attenuation decrease slightly as operating frequency increases) to the incoming radio signal. This attenuation occurs after the signal is received by the unit and phase shifted for processing, but before it is placed on the coax feedline to the receiver. In addition, the PIN diode utilized will absorb short burst of RF should transceivers be keyed accidentally by the user. This feature aids in very strong signal DF operations but will not totally guarantee against system overload under very strong RF emissions.

Short Circuit Locator
A694
The A694 is a short circuit locator designed for fault location in metallic cables. The instrument measures the ratio of the resistances of the two sections of failed conductor using a four-wire "Kelvin" connection, thus eliminating errors associated with contact resistances of the test leads. With the A694 you can determine if the cable has more than a short and locate the first and the last fault. The instrument locates fault with an insulation resistance up to 5 Mohms in cables that have a total resistance greater than 0.1 ohm and less than 40 kohms. The distance to fault is measured as a percentage of the total length of cable and is displayed on a large LCD display.
