A 32 channel Digital I/O module with high output voltage and current capability and a dual variable threshold input. The 40-413 range is available in three configurations, a high side only, a low side only (shown here)and a combined high and low side each capable of driving 2A loads. Each output is fully protected against over-voltage, over-current and thermal overload, ensuring robust and reliable operation in the toughest test environments. For high side voltage driving the high side voltage source is supplied from an external voltage source, permitting the module to drive high capacity loads without impacting the PXI chassis power supply.

HIGH FREQUENCY DC BIAS

The 6565 HF DC Bias Unit is intended to be used with a Wayne Kerr 6500 analyzer, either the 6500B Precision Impedance Analyzer or the 6500P HF LCR Meter. Its function is to provide a source of DC bias current through the Device Under Test (DUT) while the analyzer is making AC measurements. Each 6565 unit can provide up to 10 A of DC current, and up to six 6565 units can be connected in parallel to supply a maximum 60 A. A digital ammeter on the front panel allows the user to see the dc bias current value and an indicator LED shows when the bias current is enabled.

OTP-Based Test System
Power electronics assemblies often cannot be tested using conventional technology for their electrical performance. Due to the adaptability of the instrumentation, the OTP concept offers an ideal platform even beyond the space requirements of several control cabinets. In order to achieve high test flexibility with different assemblies, the system was equipped with three-phase AC sources and AC loads as well as a precise three-phase power meter. DC sources and loads with different current and voltage ranges cover the test of frequent DUT operating parameters. Time-dependent voltage or current signals can be stimulated by an arbitrary generator with power amplifier. General measurements such as current, voltage, frequency, resistance can be carried out flexibly at various test points using the matrix concept. Near Field Probes 30 MHz up to 3 GHz
RF6 set
The RF6 near field probe set consists of 2 passive magnetic field probes and 2 passive E field probes for measurements in the development phase of the E-field and magnetic field in the range from 30 MHz to 3 GHz on electronic assemblies. The probe heads of the RF6 set allow a step by step localization of interference sources of the RF magnetic field and RF-E-field on an assembly. From a larger distance the electromagnetic interference is detected by RF-R 50-1 for the magnetic field and by RF-E 02 for the E-field. The RF-B 3-2 and RF-E 10 probes with their higher resolution can more presicely detect the interference sources of the magnetic field and the E-field. Field orientation and field distribution on an electronic assembly can be detected by special guidiance of the near field probe. The near field probes are small and handy. They have a sheath current attenuation and are electrically shielded. They can be connected to a spectrum analyzer or an oscilloscope with a 50 Ω input. They do not have an internal terminating resistance.
