Millimeter Wave Amplifiers
Ducommun offers Low Noise (ALN), High Power (AHP), Full Waveguide Band (AFB) and General Purpose (AGP) amplifiers to cover the frequency range from 18 to 96 GHz. These amplifiers utilize thin-film and microelectronics manufacturing techniques and are discrete and/or MMIC PHEMT devices based. These amplifiers feature low noise, high output power, single DC power supply and wide operation temperature range. The amplifiers are offered in two categories, standard and custom-built. Both standard and custom-built amplifiers are equipped with various RF interface, including standard waveguide or coaxial connector for convenient system integration. The optional input and output integrated isolators are available as an option to further improve the port return loss.

Millimeter Wave Continuously Variable Waveguide Attenuators
Our millimeter wave variable waveguide attenuators allow designers and engineers to test their systems at various signal strengths and attenuation values to determine the optimum signal performance of the system. The key feature of these waveguide attenuators is that the attenuation level is adjusted using a built-in micrometer which enables repeatable and rapid re-setting to different attenuation levels without the need for additional external components. Our waveguide attenuators handle varying attenuation levels from 0 to 30 dB over the specified band allowing the designer to tune the attenuation level needed for the application. Waveguide Bends
Fairview Microwave’s lines of precision waveguide bends are widely used in applications such as high efficiency RF, microwave and mm-wave transmissions, satellite and military communications, radar, telecom, instrumentation and test benches. In waveguide systems that require a signal to turn or bend 90 degrees, Fairview’s waveguide bends are used to facilitate that bend or turn without degrading the transmission signal. These WG bends operate from 5.85 GHz to 90 GHz across 12 frequency bands and are available in sizes from WR-12 to WR-137. This family of waveguide bends also boast low loss and VSWR as low as 1.08:1 and are available in both E-plane and H-plane configurations. They are constructed using gold plated, oxygen free hard copper (OFHC) or painted copper alloy depending on the model and are also offered with either a UG-style flange per the military standard or a CPR-style flange. Many models are RoHS compliant.
